Now folks don't wonder me writing a techie blog post , this is preety much included in the intern-O-arena!
Yesterday , was a special day in my company ,the M.D of the company came down from Frankfurt to launch Kiazen in Corporate Head office -Finance deppt. rest other deppt have implemented Kiazen a long time back.
There was a board meeting and some new by-laws were passed. The news that makes me most happy is ...with immediate effect we will get sat off!!! yuppie!! Second , there would be per employee a Kiazen sheet. Which will take place in the form of ballot voting ,having red, blue, white colors to symbolise the remarks we give.
Additionally we interns , Nisha and I were also called to cast our votes.And ,the 3rd one os off to a few holidays,ie. Anupama. Miss u girl!
The kind of comunication the M.D have with the employee is amazing , the M.D was attitude-free,down-to-earth , very friendly with employees.Everybody was happy , the office face-off was changed from daily serious and damn professional enviroment it was more like a relax and family enviroment.
Kiazen is a Japanese word meaning gradual and orderly, continuous improvement. The Kiazen business strategy involves everyone in an organization working together to make improvements 'without large capital investments'.
While, the launch of Kiazen ,a senior next to my cabin , asked me ,what is kiazen ? And, I replied him the exact answer.He was quiet amazed and asked if I am doign my M.B.A :P and from where .NIT-B ki naak uchi kara di .hehe
Kiazen is a culture of sustained continuous improvement focusing on eliminating waste in all systems and processes of an organization. The Kiazen strategy begins and ends with people. With Kiazen, an involved leadership guides people to continuously improve their ability to meet expectations of high quality, low cost, and on-time delivery. Kiazen transforms companies into 'Superior Global Competitors'.
Kiazen was initially started by Toyota in the country. Kiazen is said to have produce better n best results. In our company , every month a Kiazen is submitted by the employee showing the before and after effects and displaying the changes that have brought in process ,that makes the result up to higher credits.
I like the concept of Kiazen. I always hated Operations Reasearch , coz it always pulled down my grades. But , here I realise OR is fun , why can't i do my majors in it :( Practical knowledge is imp in life, may that be anything , a small thing also has its high value. To motivate , the employee the higher the Kiazen points go , the employee get a free gift from the company , a microwave , or a trip to abroad, or a cutlery etc etc
We also have 5 S Acitivity here , which is followed up by the Improvement Cell of the company. This is again a concept that has its importance.

Ta Ra Rum Pum
"Guess whose back..back again..Vijeta is back again!!Tell a friend ..guess whose back..!?! "ok chillax,enough of Eminem ..
Feels relaxed , finally done with the Bachelors! Presenting , an extraordinary story of one of India's most humorous , most enthusiastic and most coolest spinster! "The Golden Nugget" .Hey, this reads well ..isn't? Calm down , ain't taking you anywhere, at least today! Well, this one's about my last day in college. It was 30 th April '07 , mood: tempestuous , temperature: 42 C , occasion : last exam , a strong reason to party ; company: gang of girls. I've never planned for a get- together with my college pals, in entire three years .But , this time I wanted to be with them , and enjoy my last days of college life .As time goes by, everything changes. So , why not live this moment ..happily!
Never one to accept the linear passage of time. I lived , every single moment of the day with a zeal and naughtiness , caring for no rules, no restrictions and stuff .Met as many girls as I cud , wished them luck for life , hugs , photo sessions ,giggling , some pjs on our beloved professors esp. G.P Yadav (K) , et al , were making my day so special ,after a long time in life .
Afternoon, was booked for two of my friends, Su & Tejwani . Again , a contributory effort to make the day biiig! We left for lunch in a restaurant , though I wanted to go to a Dhaba but, girls will be girls ..I tell u ! Just for the sake of a STUPID movie , demanded by these two movie desperados . I'd to compromise my Butter-chicken and , eat cuisines from south-north India and Italy! Anyways, I am not going to go that restaurant again. The waiters were also uncooperative to us ; we were'nt shouting or dancing up on the tables , but just laughing [ a bit louder :p] ...common.. that is not banned!
It isn't easy to pin down me for a movie, I find it a wastage of time and emotions .And ,if its a romantic movie ..then nothing annoys and irritate me so much , in this entire world! I've a few favorites and I prefer watching them again n again. Each time a new understanding . But , it was a last day with college friends.. remember you! So ,no arguments really worked , finally went to a movie .The movie is 'Ta Ra Rum Pum'. OH.. the title is , worst than Harry Potter movie's! I kept praying , something should happen so that we can bunk this movie and go for Lake view. At least , some peace .
Movie was houseful .No tickets. Ahh..releif . But, our dear Tejwani -who is an insane fan of movies, managed to get the most costly , available tickets. Just the double cost of what we estimated! By god grace, we entered the theater hall. Ya-iks! its a matinee show , only families and dating couples. A double tragedy . Crowd was pathetically dumb , in hooting. It was more or less like attending a lecture in class. No mazza ,at all. Although, both the girls were happy like anything and were trying to lure me !
The Cast:
Here comes ,the long hair German Shepard ,more or less like the actor who is known for his stupidity and 555 'sincere' ways to patao girls in any situation- at any time , irrespective of his clothes ,that's Saif Ali Khan , A.k.a R.V for you , in the movie. Or better to be known as ,an Installment boy! Who follows a motto in life,'Aaj karz, kal karz aur parsoon bhi karz but ,party toh roz hogi'
Ek-Jhactly! Guess who..? No, I won't tell you the name. He is a Taxi driver and unfortunately the manager of 'Speeeedy phidacles', that's the way he says! His name in the movie is ,Harry. This time, he's playing role of a supporting actor, lolz! Sorry!
Radhika Shekar Rai Banarjee, A.k.a Shona or better the I pod girl! Though ,I did not liked her Ipod .But, if she was offering me , I'd have close the deal. This is the same ipod , that gives you a way for philosophical frame of mind. How ..how is it possible, that an ipod can bring to two enemies together?? More to surprise you, she is a daughter of a millionaire in L.A and a world's best piano player .Gosh! but still cries for $50 I pod , in the entire movie.
Princess , daughter of R.V & Shona. Yes, the couple gets married within the first 20 minutes , and these two kids in next 5 minutes of the movie. Interestingly, there marriage venue is 'The Installment Car 'of R.V. Back to track . Princess is the girl , who seems to be sensible .She is also, narrating the story in the movie.
Champ, son of R.V & Shona. I really liked this kido! He was very very sweet , cute and lovable . I am dying to have my 1st date finally with him! I found him more smart than his flirt bapu ' R.V'!
Rusty, The Villain. I tell you , if the villain in the movie is a foreigner ,it sucks! Despite, being an American he was horrible and real bad. Nothing more to say about him.
Songs are good in the movie. Especially, that 'Shona' song , is all we are humming around . And , I specifically liked the struggling time of Saif , when his family and he are taking life traumas bravely and recuperating in a positive way. That was good. Also, this movie will help the upcoming genre of parents . Teaching ,scream buzzers are really not required for your children. And, how parents can come close to their kids with a sound chemistry and understanding each other's needs and problems.
On an average movie was good. And , the day was lived. This moment takes me back to a time when life was untouched by change and loss of people dearest to me. I often , dream about my those days, it was so much of fun , caring for nothing and just being myself.
